Watched an ep of “Streets of San Francisco” with @kristysf the other night - one of the later ones, after Michael Douglas had left.
The guest star: Arnold Schwarzenegger playing a German bodybuilder.
I wish I could time-travel back to 1977 and freeze frame the final scene and tell the viewing audience: “someone on your tv screen right now will one day be Governor of California.”
What I would expect to hear:
“Karl Malden is going to be GOVERNOR? Okay, I guess that’s fine.”
